Fred,
CCNY(proletarian Harvard) also and Pelham Parkway is where I grew up. What a small thread this is?
BTW, I was against free tuition because my belief was then that families should pay based on their earnings and that taxpayers, both rich and poor, shouldn' t pay for priveliged kids who were getting a free ride. Not a popular stance in 1964. I was also against open enrollment and any policies that would diminish the quality of a CCNY education. For that I was called a racist by some in the 1970's when CCNY gave up its academic prowess. Mike
