heck, as i posted here before, the PC sales rate is going to be just like your refrigerator- how often do you buy a new refrigerator?

I am always in need of a fast and better PC. I agree buying will slow but I still see an upgrade cycle every three to four years.

Victor,
I have no idea why people need faster PC. I am a simpleton and 386 would do for me to do my word processing and post on SI. However I sense conspiracy by the hi tech industry to deliberately build applications that require more processing power and then build PCs that will have more power than existing applications and thus starts a vicious cycle of leap frogging between the two at my (poor customer's) expense. <VVBG>
