bad news bears"

Does anyone recall a recent time when stocks rose substancially on the continues report of bad news?

We did have it two quarters ago whereby the better the quarterly report the more the stocks tanked.

Some how it does make sense. ATML recently reported no inventory problems and a very good outlook for the rest of the year (none of that lack of visibility stuff) and the stock is still tanking.

As to the current market... I'd rather be lucky than smart..... send me some dumb pills

ad, LOL! >Isn't this just more proof that we've reached the bottom?<

I thought we needed a dozen AMAT posters to publicly declare they're selling all stocks and reinvesting in long bonds?
