In response to your statement that the amount of gold involved is small, may I respond with this comment: The WHOLE point of recycling DISCARDED gold is this:Discarded gold is FREE...that is the point of people like me recycling it!<vbg> And this discard is only going to be one tiny additional line in my six pages listing of items in the next reprint. But this HIV test can't make the list until I've successfully recovered 24K gold from it. Discarded gold acquisition and processing--when accompanied by other recyclable materials...in this case perhaps plastic or whatever the delivery mechanism of the test includes-- can make said my gold acquisition costs become actually a NEGATIVE COST if I demanufacture it correctly! As far as your point about you doubting "it" will be set aside in the competitive arena of HIV testing modalities, I would only add this point to the discussion: Once upon a time.... not so very long ago.... the Russian Military and the SouthAfricans were touted as using in great quantities, a particular saliva test, manufactured here in the great state of Oregon. Now, when I mention this, outhere in my great state, most people say, Huh? and think I've "lost a cog." Those on the 'net only remember it as a "previously hot Prodigy/Sparky Beardslee led tout" that was run up and down the flagpole and saluted more times than a day trader can count. Perhaps a palladium test, or a silver test, or a copper test, or a nickel test will come along and obsolesce current Trinity Biotech's Gold based HIV test...only time will tell. But, I will check out the WEBSITE...altho' I'm not interested as an investor in Trinity, but only as a gold recycler who is always on the lookout for where the next batch of discarded gold might come from. Sounds like, from your reply, that new sourcing might come from Ireland, So. Africa, or Russia.... Thanks again for your response, Gilbert. gold_tutor yep, that's smee...on SI, eBay, Yahoo, Stockhouse, Raging Bull, AOL...just about everywhere<g>PS And I especially appreciated your disclosure about your position in Trinity's shares as part of your previous reply.
