Dear Pat: I suspect Powell was somehow misunderstood. If you recall Powell was the one who was worried about the Gulf War. And when you say start up another Cold War perhaps you mean a Hot War?? Bush has said all along that it is not his vision for us to be the international police. That is a job for the UN and the countries in the region of the problem. Its time the other industial nations pull more of their weight. There are hardly any Americans I know against that. JDN

Well, in keeping with the tone set so far it is clear that there are two major objectives of this administration. One is to keep companies specializing in killing people slowly highly profitable. The tobacco stocks are soaring since Bush was elected or directed. Second, is to keep companies specializing in large scaling just killing highly profitable. The defense company stocks are soaring since Bush was elected. JUST ABOUT EVERY COMPANY SPECIALIZING IN PROGRESSING THE WORLD IS GOING DOWN THE SEWER SINCE HE WAS ELECTED
