Have him tot up the value of the trees. Then add a small fee for doggy poo cleanup and offer to let the prof walk his dog for an equivalent fee. That's the value of walking his dog in the pristine forest. The trouble is VERY FEW if any people with such claims realize it.

Congratulations to the tree planter. He's a hero of the first order!
