In its first year, approximately $80,000 was raised from Tails of the City. Proceeds benefit Destination Foundation, a non-profit
organization founded in 1998. The Foundation grants dream trips to men and women in the San Francisco Bay Area gay community
who have been diagnosed with a terminal or life-threatening illness such as breast cancer or AIDS. These dream trips provide meaningful
change and the ability to improve health, renew spirit and help each traveler gain a healthier, happier attitude.

event. Celebrity artists include: Martha Stewart, Lily Tomlin, Judge Judy & Judge Jerry Sheindlin, Mr. Rogers, ``Zippy the Pinhead''
