What everyone here ascribes to the PPT was never the real PPT. Those coordinated runs on all outstanding offers back when the bubble first started falling apart were just carefully designed manipulation by the mufus. They realized that the most price movement is obtained for the least money by literally breaking the market mechanism, producing temporary price vacuums above stock prices. They can only do that when they have other people's money to wast- er - "invest". In liquidation, they are impotent. The real PPT is nowhere near so powerful. BC
