Ouch, sorry about the metaphoric bludgeoning (s)...

seems that the world now thinks we are months and months away from seeing serious upward pressure on technology. Unfortunately memories get so muddled in old age, I can't recall which actually are useful.

I do remember selling Cisco, Intel and IBM in a previous horrible market and sort of forgetting to buy them back. I continue to hold the solid technology stocks, sell covered calls (seemingly NEVER deep enough in the money) and use the money to buy more of the offending name. I'm looking forward a year ahead with the plan to use the dips and spikes to accumulate the solid technology companies who are NOT going out of business. (Ah, so that's what an accumulate rating means)

My other non tech accounts are another case and that will continue to hold mattel, alcoa, international paper and boeing until further notice.
