There's a 2B bottom on the 5 min chart which also coincides with the low on the NDC a few days ago.

Not saying its "the" bottom, but one day, it will be one of these formations - a marginal new low and a move up from there, that is it.

Just like I was fond of saying at the top, a bottom has to start somewhere.

Having said that, its not my plan to buy "bottoms" in a long term downtrend. I sell retracements and leave the bottom picking for other folks.

StockOperator: What do you see ahead for the NYSE? We really haven't seen any breakdown yet. One might expect the earnings slow down to also hit the non-high tech components of the DOW but it just hasn't happened yet. Of coarse there will be some companies like MO that are not affected as much but I would have expected others such as BA, GM, MMM to start feeling the pinch. What do you make of it? GH
