this is a true texas story: back in the 50s (granted a while ago, but with the bush presidency, do you really think it's changed much? <g>), a baby was born to a texan army officer in N. Carolina. upon hearing the mother was in labor, daddy flew from texas with a sack load of dirt so the little one could be born on texas soil !
