Well let's see, shorts have been increasing their positions from Jan, to Feb., and Monday's have been bad lately, I don't think they will rush to cover, do you?? Shorts are pretty confident here at this point. The media already reported today, some hedge funds have been covering today, but it hasn't helped the Nasdaq one bit yet. Personally, I would hold shorts over the weekend before I would hold longs over the weekend, but it's just me. Are shorts going to hold overnight and worry about (upside) earnings surprises?? Or, are the longs going to hold overnight, and worry about the next disappointment, earnings warning, downgrade, lowered guidance, etc.?? Just something to think about.

Maybe there will be a short covering bounce into the close, maybe not, we'll see, no one knows.
