RD,

I'm married to a math major, so I'm pretty sure they can do math.

rudedog,

re: sensitive debate

Just some observations.

Very few girls do elctronics or engineering.

It is a male dominated area.

However taking math there seem to be many subtle differences between races as well as men and women.

I hear that russians and indians have a particular affinty to Math. And somehow it is also related to ability at chess and writing great software.

My son and daughter are in school.

There the largest percentage (by far) of honors students is female.

And this has been true consistently for several years.

So i agree that there are very subtle differences all around and one can draw very many different conclusions depending upon one's agenda.

Personally, i say VIVE LA DIFFERENCE.

And in Maurice Chevaliers immortal words: Thank heaven for little girls (and older ones too!!).

regards,

Kash
