hjm, i've been vigorously arguing the same thing for the last 2 years. basic cause and effect. this crash is the effect.

blodgett and his types are bit players. alan greenspan has his hand in the cookie jar. not for failing to manipulate the bubble higher - but for creating it in the first place.

faking gdp and productivity growth is slimey. so is pumping money supply growth at double digits. so is artifically lowering interest rates. all this has created a credit bubble beyond belief.

tl & ev - tough love and economic violence.

those folks that watch stock price and don't compare it to company fundamentals are going to get crushed. fundamentals are swirling w/ the tidy bowl man.

demand can't be spurred to required levels by misallocating capital to worthless business models.
