IF you want to discourage something, then you tax it.

Should the US adopt a more punitive tax strategy attacking wealth creation, it will simply chase that activity to other parts of the world. How this could benefit any US resident defies any logical argument I'm able to see.

Of course, one could postulate several emotional arguments; or hypothetical hopes and dreams. Reality and logic demonstrate that the best way to make everyone wealthier from bottom to top of the spectrum is to stop taxing it.

I would further suggest that until you obtain Bill Gates' status as the wealthiest american, you may not be the best person to decide what amount of personal wealth is too much.
