Alan Abelson has made that point many times. I must say, this market makes that perspective look very convincing. I think it will take a lot more pain and time before this perspective becomes common, though. If SI is anything to go by, most individual investors in equities seem primarily if not solely interested in tech. If somebody could do a comparison of posts on tech boards vs. nontech, I'd guess the ratio is over 95:1.
