Claude:

I agree that the grades are not exceptional, and the market was probably hoping for more, but this is a stepout from a main deposit which has higher values. There's already about 2 million oz of Pd, Pt and Au in the main resource, and that's based on 1989 prices for Pd. If current prices hold, IMHO the grades in DH G5 would translate into quite a good "Au Equivalent" figure. e.g. 0.88 Pd + 0.22 Pt is equivalent to about 3 gpt Au. And 200 feet depth of that sounds O.K. to me. Please correct me is this assumption is wrong.

Either way, I think the market is not putting very much value on the Marathon deposit yet, so I feel it's a comparatively safe bet for an exploration play. GEO's market cap is almost justified by its new Vueltas del Rio mine (pouring gold this month?) and the remaining assets at San Francisco.

Despite my enthusiasm, I myself won't be buying any more because I've been averaging down for years :^(

Best regards,
Howy
