how can a reader determine if the writer was right or wrong?

Perhaps thats the point. What new subscriber would dig into the past if the writer was hot now.

TSCM's Direction:

I listened to the conference call. Issues of note include: 1) a focus upon new revenue streams (i.e., the below-mentioned $10/mo for real-time quotes), 2) JJC has an upcoming radio show in the works, 3) editorial staff has experienced layoffs to reduce expenses, and 4) hedge funds are paying extra for editorial info (my understanding is that hedge funds receive editorial info a few hours prior to realmoney.com readers).

"Check out TheStreet.com's new portfolio tracker. The new tracker, powered by Money.net, provides streaming, real-time quotes so you can track your investments throughout the day. The real-time tracker includes all exchanges fees and permits you to track more than 200 stocks at the same time. There's a 30-day free trial and it costs $9.99 a month."
