Imo the only "good news" that can come from Japan are: 1. The collapse and elimination of the LDP. 2. A full and complete RTC style bailout of Japanese banks and ins. cos. funded with taxpayer yen. Imo number 2 cannot happen without number 1. In short, things have to get worse before they get better. Imo my main reason for remaining extremely skeptical of the overall market is this: insidertrader.com Those in a position to know their own businesses prospects are not buying in droves. Short term rallies are de riguer even in bear markets, but this indicator is screaming "No major rally".
