>>i would like to see a rally start where they have given up and are staying in cash, the rally from march 1st, was a little bit like that so we may be getting closer.

Who cares what you would like? The market always does what its collective participants' mood.

How in the world does a rally start, if as you put it, they stay "where they have given up and are staying in cash".

All of that stuff is wishing that things go your way. As it is with almost all the posts in this board where I have lurqed a long time. You and people like you just post simply what is useful to your position. What a despicable state of mind you must be in to to wish for and say this: "would love to see something like that to wash out the last of the weak hands". If you are in the business of playing the market, just play the market as it suits you. To wish the financial demise of other people is the sign of a sick mind.

Bobby, what you describe (a long stretch of more than 7 trading days of lower lows (and tic in excess of -1000) is critical of a major bottom (Late last May, was a pretty good bottom and it had seven such days), I do not think we are at such a turning point yet, thus two to four days like you describe might suffice, but the bounce will be only temporary.
