g...looks like that last 50 pt bump was a killer..that is just now feeing into the economy. and, i don't think the economy is all that sick BUT perception from investors and consumers right now is the problem. he will ultimately go 75pts anyway so let's jump start the whole mess now and give investors something to look FORWARD to... we need to get some visibility on earnings for sept and dec cause march and june are going to be bad. we somehow have got to replace the present sentiment with hope for the future. the mkts will llook ahead if you give them something to look AT...75pts now will give us something to look AT towards the end of the year and maybe some people would begin to stake out positions now for down the road apiece. friday nailed it for me...we need some help.
