Alex,

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they can't stop you from day trading a cash account. That may cut down the action but you could still do a lot of trading with IB and a few bucks. Also consider how we were looking at $100-$150 stocks 6-12 months ago. Now we're looking at $5-$20 stocks.

BTW nothing less than a Federal court-ordered injunction will stop this now. The SEC had a comment period on the proposed rule that ended, if I recall, spring of 2000.
