It should be.

Over the past 3 months, I have been asked the question repeatedly what people should do with their failing QCharts. I switched back to eSignal to feed my TradeStation, but that does not satisfy all the needs, as I have to collect and store data on my local machine. TSPro is a good product but for whatever bizarre reason, they have locked themselves into a relationship with S&P Comstock, which probably dooms the accuracy and timeliness of the data for the foreseeable future:

quote.com

"Today: Friday, March 9 (Last Update – 02:05 pm EST)

There was an issue earlier today with CME data on the Boston routers.

Futures contracts have rolled over into the June month. The June month code is represented with the letter M.

Due to incorrect trades sent by our data provider, S & P Comstock, Bulletin Board stocks and NASDAQ's "All sessions" intraday charts are erroneous. Our engineering team is working with our data integrity team in order to clean up these errors as quickly as possible.

Ongoing Issues:
- Emini NASDAQ Futures' Net Change
Who is affected: Users of the NQ futures
Symptoms: Incorrect Net Change (i.e. +834, -936)

Our servers our incorrectly resetting from the previous day's trading session, and as a result holding an erroneous Yest value (yesterday's close.) Since the Net Change is based on the Yest, this too is in error. Our engineers will investigate this as soon as possible.

- Server Queuing
Who is affected: QCharts users
Symptoms: Delayed response in filling data requests during high volume periods (i.e. first and last 30 minutes of trading)

Due to server capacity issues, the above symptoms can be experienced. Our entire development staff is working to resolve this issue on the highest priority level as possible."

My only regret at the moment is that I have several hundred lines of code in Omega's (not so)EasyLanguage that cannot be transported to MetaStock that easily. Otherwise, upon discovering this Dream Team combo today, I would have switched in about 1/2 a second. It's QCharts on steriods, with accurate and timely data, and all the tools a technical trader needs.

What more can I say?

T.
