That's the big question at this point, Joe. I have been an outspoken supporter of Greenspan, and had long regarded him as an astute, creative, and effective executive during his stay at the Fed. But his actions over the past year bring to mind a drunken bus driver lurching from curb to curb, and I've begun to fear that he is groping for an answer that may not be available based on his economic groundings.

They've been ruthless and based the threads I visit, very effective. Most of the high margin players have been squeezed out.

My concern is that the psychological damage has been so deep that the market may flatline for many quarters before any level of realism/optimism can return.
