<<Japan Fund traded like a stock>>

EWJ, Japan IShares (Amex)

Traded about 500k shares @ 10 or so today, so not a real liquid jobbie.

<< I believe that there is a Japan Fund traded like a stock, but I am not sure what the symbol is. >>

Thanks, Zeev. A search brought up the T. Rowe Price "Japan Fund", ticker "PRJPX".

It's one-year chart:

bigcharts.com

compares favorably with the Nikkei chart:

quote.yahoo.com^n225&d=b

I think I will go long PRJPX on Monday.

Too bad I couldn't find a BearJpX fund for next month !!! : ' )

Thanks again - HB

EWJ is the Japan fund that trades like a stock. For the more venturesome there is Rydex Japan (RYJPX) which adds a bit of leverage to the play.

There is also the "JPN" I chart it and use it as a proxy sometimes.

Good Luck,
