you cut to the chase. if you are using all your money to run your car, you can't afford your car.it's that simple. all the discrecionary money is going to the oil companies. look at the charts. as the oil companies went from garbage to gold since 1998, everything else went in the opposite direction.the price of oil must come down to spur the rest of the economy. maybe with bush we can get some relief. oil prices are really more important than interest rates or tax breaks.if you make 150,000 a year you suffer a little. if you make 35,000 you can't leave home! rocky

Dear Joseph: $550 a month--OH MY GAWD!! How in the WORLD do average people afford something like that? Plus you have electric on TOP right? Here in S. Fla. everything is electric (I have a fireplace but havent lit it in 3 years) and I COMPLAIN when my electric bill goes above $150 a month. JDN
