Great - Attack the messenger, not the message - classic!

Of course, the profile is a little old. I haven't owned Cisco in almost 2 years, I sold World Fuel about a year ago (though I'm regretful that I did), but I did buy the living crap out of Ashton (45,000 shares) late last year for less than a dollar to add to a sizable position - we'll see how it goes.

Never said my favorite song was Beyond Belief, though I do think Costello is the best songwriter of our generation (since Lennon was killed). And Dubya is an international embarassment -- I can't wait to hear what his supporters say when his tax cut turns three hundred billion dollar surpluses into three hundred billion dollar deficits, just like his dad -- oh that's right, they'll leave it for a centrist democrat to clean up -- or better yet, their grandchildren. Whereas the economy (and my own economic outlook) never did better than during the Clinton presidency. But again, why let facts stand in the way of some good reactionary rhetoric.

As for diligence, well, we'll see whether diligence pays off - in this case, a bunch of people who know nothing about ASTN -- but think they do because of a news story about a boiler room brokerage house and some other events in the past 2 years that fit their template of companies to short, are squared off against people (at least 15 I know personally) who have looked very closely at what ATG is doing, and who they are doing it with, and how it is converging with the direction the markets are heading in the context of finding new and alternative methods to avoid front running on the part of MMs, B/Ds and specialists to the disadvantage of large institutional block readers . . . oh, sorry, I forgot, you're not supposed to talk substance in here -- only point out stories that lead you to companies that fit the template.

Never mind. Why bother.
