Zeef,I respect your opinion and you have been on the money since 2800, but I ask you to recall what many said when NASD hit new lows going from 98-today. Yes perhaps we may go lower but I donot think so based on this scenerio.

What stock, or stocks at current levels are good shorts? As a short seller the risk is now CONSIDERABLY higher based on the carnage of most of the NASD TRADING stocks. Funds in particular would love to get the 30-50% return if the market started to turn around. This theory is why I believe we are forming a bottom, and I have seen in the stocks that I am buying instituitonal buying since monday.

I am particularly bias going forward with the STORAGE area. I have noticed a nice pick up over the last 2 weeks, in particular EMLX, QLGC, MCDT, EMC, and BRCD. Yes these stocks broke down yesterday, but the question is are they REBOUND CANIDATES in the counter trend rally?

The 85% short is a sentiment figure regarding trading only. My point is the easy money, most figure, is shorting a stock that has a 50 p/e, or no earnings, and now I believe its the most dangerous trade down here.

I was buying in fall of 98, and I feel this down draft and the prices are a lot worse. Just look at what has happened to just those stocks I listed in the last 3 trading weeks. I take this type of sentiment and I buy. I was long yesterday and I will be long monday, when this thing does turn many stocks will go up 50% in a matter of DAYS!!

So in conclusion the risk now is being out when things turn or being short!!

I would like your opinion on the storage area, and if you believe as I do that its very oversold and will rebound SHARPLY?

Thanks! LA CHIAM!

Zeev;

I too expect the Dow to breach 10000 later this year. Don Hays talking about a drop to 7500. I know that is a bigger decline than you forsee; but with both of you expecting significant weakness -- I feel sorry for people who will remain too long in these "safe havens."
