There is a guy who shows up on cnbc about every two months, and he has won something like the last 10 "economist of the year awards", or something like that. Midwest accent; seems like a slender small guy; I don't think he works for an investment bank but some organization. Do you know who I am talking about? I'll try to find the name. Anyway, he said 12 months ago we would be in a recession by now. Wrote a paper called the "perfect storm" and recently he has said we won't start to come out of this until everyone has given up the idea of a second half recovery. He is starting to sound more positive. Next time, I am listening to him. Of course, that's when he will blow it.
