RE: "The downward momemtum of the cycle will dissipate with time and more Fed Rate cuts, and at some point change into the upswing that everyone is waiting for."

1. That assumes that there will be "more Fed Rate cuts."

2. If the Fed does continue to cut, then the statement is correct, IMO. The question then becomes this: When is the "at some point ..." referenced in the above quote?

I'm getting tempted to increase my dollar-cost-averaging into the market at these levels. I may even throw a little more into QQQ's. But I'm not going to jump in with both feet. I think the "some point" referenced in the quote will not occur soon.

Best wishes,

I2

Re: "It seems to me when there is blood in the streets the people on these boards and in the media, bad news sells, come out and try to make it seem like circumstances are worse than they are."

I'll believe that MOABO is here when all of the whiners, moaners, and groaners get so disgusted with the stock market that they sell out and lose interest in whining about investing and market gurus.

Until then, I'll be conservative in my equity purchases.

Best wishes,

I2

PS - PC Magazine has a relatively negative editorial on Intel. It suggests that their monopoly may be on a downward slide.
