I think there must be some validity in the issues. I once was running RealTick III from PCQuote, Windows on Wall Street, eSignal and Qcharts - all at the same time.

Issues appeared on the S&P feed from three different vendor sources that did not appear on eSignal (which sources its data direct from the exchanges).

I don't disagree with you, I think that some vendors will blame others for their own issues, but I do think there is some truth to the position that S&P provides a cheaper source of data and cheaper usually implies some limitations or deficiencies.

I think the extra step of Comstock going to QCharts and Aspen Graphics before redistribution is probably the root cause of the big problem. I assume that you have Comstock fed directly to your firm?
