This isn't meant to be an allusion that Galbraith was/is left-wing?

Yes it is. Although as he ages he realizes the some of the short comings of his earlier arguments.

Klien's No Logo sometimes reads like Galbraith's "The Affluent Society".

Regards
Jay

Galbraith hasn't a clue about economics. He spent all those years studying it, but he started with a prejudice and so all his conclusions are false. ALL.

Galbraith must have been either rich or poor when he was young, because it is only from the experiences available in those classes that you pursue class warfare. Most rich people resent other rich and so sponsor the war on wealth, that is, as long as it isn't fought in their backyard.

Galbraith's fondest memories come out of WW2 when he sat on the price fixing board. As he put it, he reveled in socking it to corporations.
