Yeah, that length of being a customer biz must have something to do with it but State Farm gave me a dirt cheap quote from day one in a cold call. I remember it distinctly because I couldn't believe it! The Porsche is also tricked up but there is no way they can tell from a VIN number, obviously. And what adjuster would have a clue about different turbos, intercoolers, engine management systems and so forth?

They also missed a 150+mph speeding ticket I got during the policy by not checking on their underwriting book and now it is past the 5 year look-back. The Judge did whack me pretty good though. -g-

I think that all insurance companies probably give lower rates after having you as a policy holder for a while. They figure if you are low risk, they are better off keeping you than risking some new guy that might hit a bus full of kids every month.

I've not been the smartest guy behind the wheel, but I've never done anything dumb, my rates are low also [progressive].
