excar, thanks for the beta. i have two children, ara and zoe; the next in line would have been beta and yoyo. i read with a terrible envy how you sophisticates are making all this money shorting. some of us have to do the grundge-work of playing the long end. where would the railroads have been without the chinese? peru had much the same thing happen, chinese immigrants tunneling thru high rock and dying in inordinate numbers. and peru now has a goodly number of chinese cafes, called chifas, and you have never tasted chinese food like they serve there. wouldn't really advise it, either. all chicken dishes in peru are filled with splintered bones. our conclusion was that they slaughter chickens in peru by running them down with large trucks. guess that china stuff got me in the mood. i don't even much like traveling anymore. too much work. about the settle down to my libation. noc temps are up and pouring concrete tom. let the good times roll. don p.s. this post was pretty much o.t. and i don't want to hear any comments about nonsequitirs.
