I think a lot of people tried to play counter-trend rallies, knowing we are in a bear market. Mark does his own analysis and acts in accord with what he sees -- that has been my experience in reading his posts. He is a bull in a bull market ans a bear ina bear market -- what is consistent is that he takes a hard look at the trends and acts consistent with the trend. Energy, as Mark points out, is a structural play and just just business cycle related.
