Sorry Kastel,
I never did post that FN chart... anyway here it is... If I am reading between the lines correctly... according to the goldbugs we may be a little oversold here (is that right Bob?) According to Kirby49, gold has to catch up to the miners (Bob please correct me if I am off base here). So IMHO I would play the breakout...

stockcharts.com[w,a]dacayymy[dc][pc5!c21!c50!c200!h.02,.20!f][vc60][iut!ul14!lc20!la12,26,9!lh14,3!lb14]

As far as steel goes your comments are very interesting & bold well for Stelco, US Steel, Co-steel, Dofasco etc

As Bob (Kirby49), suggested interesting divergences are occuring. And if the auto companies need less supply & the infrastructure needs more, productivity of the steel mills may be enhanced BWTFDIK

Regards,
Peter

Hi Kastel,

Interesting. If I remember (& please correct me on this) don't governments try to resurrect the economy by creating 'infrastructure' type of 'make-work projects'? U know, building bridges, sewers, tunnels, mass transit... whenever the economy tanks?

If so, that might enhance what the private sector is doing ie: pipelines, energy infrastructure, tankers, etc...

At any rate for now, all of my trades have a very short term horizon... typically a week or two maximum. Sometimes 10 minutes...<g>

R u in MX.to? Seems everybody is talking 'bout it.

Regards,
Peter
