hi ed that is great to hear about me's system restore. that is, i have been aware of it since me's inception, but rarely get to hear much from actual users. i've heard the detractors complain, so it's very good to learn that the feature works as designed and saves bacon too. <g3> on the detractor note, i recall reading about endless loops and viruses that could not be cleaned, and i also recall complaints about restore files taking up a lot of room. i must admit that because i do not run the os, i have not paid close attention, and may in fact have not gotten the particulars straight in the first place. i'm always happy to hear about someone who is pleased with an os and finds the special features to be more than window dressing. :) mark
