NG prices took a hit on Friday, but NG stocks held up very well. Even after the sell-off, the commodity price remains at historical highs. Some stocks in this sector have broken out (OEI,DNR) and others (including CHK) are signalling a breakout. You know that I've been in this sector for the long haul and will continue to hold. KEG and ROIL look very good. GOU is good too <ggg>. Gold stocks have been on a tear. The XAU index has broken its long decline. Natural resource prices generally tend to move in tandem. Gold is likely to continue moving up as the interests rates come down. NEM's chart looks great. I'm planning on buying. There's some hope/rumour that the Fed will lower interest rates this coming Friday. A half point drop at latest by the next meeting (is it the 20th?) is a 100% certainty according to the bond market. Looking at charts for quick plays, I like MWAV and EFDS. On the RDRT question, long or short, I have no position but would short the stock right now. RDRT moves in tandem with Naz. Naz is looking very ugly. It's going to take some time before investors regain confidence to buy AND HOLD tech stocks. Energy, basic materials, consumer cyclicals is where the safety conscious will turn. Remeber our target on ALLY? Trend is intact. It should hit 14...then we can short it. Amigo Mike pointed out an opportunity on NUTX. Cup has been formed. Chart might make a handle, or it may not. Cup with no handle is extremely bullish. Either way, NUTX should go higher. Worth Magazine's new issue just came out. There' a feature story on satellite radio. There are only two players in this new niche and both are introducing their product in a few weeks. About 10 bucks a month for 100 stations of virtually commercial free radio beamed to your car. The two stocks are SIRI and and XSMR. XSMR's largest outside shareholder is MTNT. MTNT has been taking a hit, along with just about everything else, but should benefit from XSMR's rollout along with its own positive developments. XSMR is selling below book value and was selected this weekend at www.starmine.com as a likely positive earnings surprise (in April). Sergio
