I'm thinking tomorrow is going to be a good day to sell my puts. One of these days, we're going to start a bear rally, and the Nas will go up 20-25% in a month. The selling recently has been extreme. OTOH, volume has not really picked up, so buyers haven't stepped in yet. Nas goes below 2000 with barely a whimper.

Sold my puts at the close, made 23% in 10 days. Bought some calls, 2003 30s. Will buy more calls if we go lower. If we pop right back up to 36, I'll probably sell for the quick profit. But, if we go lower, I'm willing to hold a lot longer, which is why I bought the longest-term available.

I'm beginning to think that the semis have gotten low enough, and we aren't going to go a whole lot lower. TXN is near the bottom end of its 5-year PE range (17-89, using trailing earnings). We could, certainly, go lower, but at these (and any lower) prices, this is a good longterm entry price for longs.

I guess it's a good sign, the total disinterest in this stock. Very few posts, and those are from shorts and short-term traders.
