Ted,
Suggestion: New segment on the EDGE for a daily Technical Analysis of the markets. A different guest each day or the same one, or cycle them each week. Even better, a bear & bull guest duking it out. Even better, interactive with viewers calling with questions. TA on the major indices - DOW, SPX, NAZ, and BONDS. IMHO, this type of programming cuts BS & hype, you can keep these TA guests honest and to the point. In fact, CNBC should be helping their customers with important market analysis like this, a few times each day, rather than simply telling us what the analysts are saying and reading off the wires. Give us value-added material, and ask the whiners & moaners at CNBC who need housing to stop the socialist BS! How long have they lived in the NY metro area? Markets going down will not help them, they should do like everyone else and get housing they could afford, or get a job with higher income.
Furthermore, let's get this over with: are you all afraid of Greenspan? Why not have guests who are critical of the FED, why not have a debate about the FED destroying the American economy, about how Greenspan et al are way behind the curve, about the hardships lower & middle class folks are experiencing because of the FED's and Kathleen Hay's theoritical and academic interpretation of the economy & markets. Will these people get REAL?

Peace.

Hello Ted, enjoy your work at CNBC, any chance of seeing more of Larry Kudlow, I think he really has his finger on the pulse of the economy, compared to Greenspan. I am trying to be nice here, but I think Greenspan is living in the past, even when the market was going up. He is using antiquated ideas. KUDLOW FOR FED CHAIRMAN!
