Add government workers to the list who voted Republican, and more all the time. I know lots of them, including me! You think we LIKE wasting tax payers money? There are plenty of things we do that waste money, and all of them were started by the democrats.

I think it interesting that you somehow consider all of these people has having their hand out. It seems to me that you have no numbers to back up your claim that 1/2 of the people who voted for Gore have their hand out, even assuming your assumption that all of the people that you have grouped together have their hand out. I for one do not think that most blacks, hispanic, school teachers and union workers have their hand out. Most are hardworking folks like you and me and pay taxes but have a far different view of the role of government. The fact that their view is different does not mean they have their hand out.
