Gregory, Good posts! Margin debt is another concern to me. March 2 numbers show we are at an all time high in margin debt. That means we are fully extended. Thus the next wave of selling can be even stronger. I also do not think pessimism is at a high level right now. Disappointment is prevalent, but most are looking for the bottom any day now and are afraid of missing the rally. I have been mostly in cash and some short positions. I have stuck my toe into the water a few times and usually lost a few thousand each time. However I am preserving most of my capital for when the trend changes. When the market turns, which companies in technology do you have your eye on. To me the best plays would include: Emc, Sebl, beas, brcd, jnpr, csco, sunw...qqq? Steve D.
