Dear rich4eagle: Well, what can I say? You either have confidence in your leaders or you dont. Its true Congress OFTEN is more interested in feathering their own backyard with projects MANY OF WHICH THE D.O.D. DOES NOT WANT but people like Donald Rumesfield who are respected experts in the field try to do the right thing. Costs go up for the D.O.D. often because of employee costs. Our servicemen and woman have been underpaid and often live in abominable conditions. There is a lot of catching up to do. Everyone likes to talk about Teachers, and teachers are important but people who put their life on the line so you can BS us here deserve good treatment also. JDN
