I have a tough time seeing Tito KO'd. But I also have a tough time seeing that fight go to decision.

I agree with your assessment of Whitaker...I think that his size is his biggest asset. He is not only tall, he is a big man. The leverage that he gets on some of those punches is incredible. But, I think that Lewis would take him apart. Not just points, I think that Lewis would work him and systematically weaken his defenses until the 9th or 10th round and then knock him out...cold.

"After tonight, at this point, I am quite sure that Mosely will beat Trinidad. Possibly - do I daresay? - knock him out. I'm thinking a 9th, 10th round KO"

there you go again. man, you said the same thing about fernando vargs! lol! always selling trinidad short. i thought you learned something after that fight, 5.

what you saw tonight, mosley vs. taylor, would bear zero resemblance to mosley vs. trinidad. zero! you think trinidad would stand still with his head sitting there like a speed bag for mosley to pop! no way. trinidad moves side to side as he comes in. and he fights his way in. jab, jab, jab , cross, hook. relentless pressure. and power by the hour, stronger longer.

trinidad has been champ for seven years and he's ALWAYS beaten guys who he wasn't supposed to. he knocked your beloved fernando vargas on his aztec butt 5 times. vargas had NEVER been down in his career! but he ate the canvas 5 times against a guy you swore was gonna lose.

go ahead and write trinidad off. it won't be the first time and it won't be the last. i just thought you learned something from tito's last fight.

but i'll tell you what. mosley vs. trinidad doesn't even happen unless trinidad campaigns unsuccessfully as a middleweight. if that happens, he'll revisit the lower weight class and give mosley what he is looking for.

OR..... mosley chases trinidad up the ladder, which would be a worse move for mosley.

so it's all academic, as they say. i don't think we'll see sugar shane and tito.

:)
