Man, you're not kidding. There hasn't been such an easy mark holding a title belt since Orlin Norris won a "Super Cruiserweight" belt in 1993 and kept it for 2 years by not fighting. In his first defense, of course, he was KO'ed.

The difference is that Ruiz won't have the avoidance alternative; the immediate heavyweight ranks are too full of steely-eyed killers to make his tenure amount to more than simply keeping the belt warm.

I like Ruiz against Whitaker. Their resume is one of the most important things a fighter takes with them into the ring. 24 rounds with Holyfield has taught Ruiz ring lessons Whitaker hasn't even contemplated yet. Ruiz by KO if the fight should ever happen.

Mosley - Trinidad is a bit harder to call ;-)

Bruce
