When I first started watching the old Financial News Network in 1981 (they merged with CNBC in the early 1990's), they were completely and totally impartial (with no cheer-leading anywhere to be heard) in my opinion and that was a very stong point that attracted me to them, and they helped my study of the markets tremendously. CNBC is now heading in the right direction these bearish days, and let us all hope they will keep improving themselves and never go back to the good old bad days of cheer-leading.
