Art - i've got the coolpix 700 and HP Photosmart P1000.

Many times I print straight from the CF slot without even turning on the computer.

I must say that if there is anything that produces better quality than my set-up then goodnes I'd love to see it and it must then be almost the same quality as normal film.

In fact for most of my prints I just can't tell the difference.

I used to use my Leica M-6 and Kodachrome but I haven't used it much lately. Its a bit of a hassle with the film and waiting for it to come back from processing.

OK so IS there a better quality set up than mine. Maybe I should say materially better and of course at normal prices?

Art, thank you for the advice.

The puppy is a terror. But we can't wait to shoot him. I just moved to the desert after ten years on the coast. I'm also very excited to shoot some desert-scape. Mostly from golf courses. ;~>
