My price levels help avoid hedging my bets. I want to become fully invested with the money I have earmarked. I would rather complete my buys and the market go lower than not get to any or all my targets. The one CSCO puchase is ~2.5% of the amount I want to commit.

I am very committed to the 8 that I will buy, AMAT, ASML, KLAC, NVLS and ALTR, XLNX, LLTC, MXIM.

I follow a large number of stocks in my Yahoo portfolios and my Datek streaming portfolios, but these 8 are the best quality for the $ and the best for risk/reward.

I believe the internet driven tech bubble at the end of a tech bull market has likely distorted the view of the market toward the long term potential of some of the tech favorites. The 8 I have chosen provide basic technology that is required across the whole spectrum of the economy. Correctly guessing the fastest growing sector in the next five years will produce greater returns, but my 8 will produce great returns with no guessing required.
