I don't have the URL but it was posted on the Market Direction board by a reliable source (Les Horwitz). If I am wrong, I stand corrected but it was posted over the weekend that margin debt is at an all time high. Steve D.

NYSE Margin Debt Falls

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The amount investors borrowed from New York Stock
Exchange (news - web sites) member firms to buy stocks fell for a
fifth-straight month in February, the New York Stock Exchange said.

Known as margin debt, the amount of loans from brokers outstanding slipped
5.2 percent in February to $186.9 billion, according to the Big Board.
