She is not the only one to lash out at those who find gurus less than completely honest and forthright in their dealings with subscribers. The insecure control freak gig seems to go with the territory based on what I have seen of several similar characters......

Gurus need to make people follow them or fear them. Anyone who refuses to do both must be dismissed and "pummeled" (like writing words on a computer screen has any great significance in the real world, but don't tell the kiddies or you will spoil the whole game). So the gurus scream and protest and threaten and throw their toys out of their playpen until enough followers come to soothe their bruised, oversized egos and they can feel in control again.

The funny thing about most arrogant people is they are actually the most transparent personalities around....and only they don't seem to know it. Everyone else can see through them like Windex.

The other frequent defense is to claim that all critics are just "jealous" - one thing that is very clear now, money certainly can't buy any number of character traits that most people value in life.
